I’m Shai, a wife, mom of three, fitness enthusiast, and the founder of Shai Aesthetics Medical Spa.
I’ve spent over 20 years in medicine, from respiratory therapy to critical care, but my heart has always been in aesthetics.

My journey began in Guam, where I watched my mother, a master esthetician and artist, help women feel beautiful. That early exposure sparked my lifelong passion for beauty and confidence. At 19, I moved to California with nothing but determination and a dream.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a registered nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, and clinical instructor, caring for thousands of patients — from San Diego locals to veterans with complex conditions. I also served on the frontlines during COVID-19, which taught me resilience, compassion, and what it truly means to fight for health.

When I opened Shai Aesthetics, my mission was simple:
To create a space where women could heal, glow, and reclaim their confidence.

Today, I continue to train with some of the industry’s top injectors, mentor new providers, and educate women who want to rise in the world of aesthetics.

My approach is honest, results-driven, and deeply personal — because I know what it means to work hard, to fight for health, and to choose yourself.
